In partnership with the West Grand Neighborhood Organization, we’re inviting neighbors and garden lovers to explore the green spaces growing across the Westside — including all three of our Neighborhood Blooms yard share gardens! 🌸

Grow and Give Kickoff
Join us for the 1st Annual Grow & Give Kickoff Event as we launch our first season of growing and sharing! This community building event will focus on getting plants and materials into the hands of our Grow & Give participants while fostering connections within our gardening community.
CA Frost Carnival
Join us at the CA Frost Carnival and learn how we grow kindness through flowers! Stop by our booth to explore our programs and discover how you can be part of our mission to spread joy through flowers.
Take home some flower power! We’ll have free seeds and starter kits available (while supplies last) so you can start growing kindness in your own backyard.

Composting Basics with WORMIES
Join Wormies Vermicompost as they share everything you need to know to begin composting at home. After setting the stage with the basics of conventional composting, composting with worms and why composting is important, they’ll highlight what is considered acceptable scraps, how to maintain your compost, when and how to harvest your compost and how to best use it.
Get your hands dirty learning how to set up your own worm bin and garden compost pile.
Children are welcome and encouraged! This is a workshop for all ages, abilities, and skill levels.
All of our workshops are available for a suggested donation of $5, which helps us cover supplies and support future events.

Virtual Grow and Give Garden Planning Workshop
Join us for a special Virtual "Grow & Give" Garden Planning Workshop to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy of kindness, connection, and community. This family-friendly event will include a storytime to inspire young gardeners and a hands-on garden planning session for all!
