Composting Basics with WORMIES

Join Wormies Vermicompost as they share everything you need to know to begin composting at home. After setting the stage with the basics of conventional composting, composting with worms and why composting is important, they’ll highlight what is considered acceptable scraps, how to maintain your compost, when and how to harvest your compost and how to best use it. 

Get your hands dirty learning how to set up your own worm bin and garden compost pile.

Children are welcome and encouraged! This is a workshop for all ages, abilities, and skill levels.

All of our workshops are available for a suggested donation of $5, which helps us cover supplies and support future events.
